The Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle is the largest multi-purpose hall of Stuttgart, Germany. The hall is located in the district Bad Cannstatt Neckar Park in the west about 200 meters from the Mercedes-Benz Arena. In the neighborhood are the Carl Benz Center, and the Porsche Arena.
The Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle was built in 1983 and named after the assassinated employers’ President Hanns Martin Schleyer. The capacity was about 10,000 seats initially or approximately 13,000 standing spectators. The hall has a velodrome of 285.71 meters.

During 2005-2006, the arena has been rebuilt and modernized for 12.2 million euro. The velodrome was built over two corner stands and a second rank was also built on the grandstand side of the head. The today capacity totals more than 15,500 seats and standing room of which 8500 seats are permanently installed. A new forum will be created in the area in order to host five catering stations and a new restaurant.
There are many sporting events held here such as: Stuttgart German Masters Equestrian Tournament, Boxing Championships, Handball Bundesliga and international matches, the Quarter-finals of Euro Basket 1985, DTB Cup (gymnastics), ADAC SX Moto Cross Cup and athletic cups. Beside these sporting events, the hall also accommodates many music festivals (Nokia Night of the Proms, Porsche Oldie Night) and even TV shows (Musikantenstadl and Wetten dass). The Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle is easily accessible by car and public transport with bus lines S1, S2 and S3. Parking facilities exist in large parking lots around the hall.
