Just because you came to Hawaii to relax doesn´t mean that you can´t rock and roll. It seems like Hard Rock Cafés are everywhere, and Lahaina, Maui is no exception. The old town, once the capital of Hawaii, and the nearby largest dormant volcano on earth, Haleakala, "the House of the Sun," provide a great backdrop for looking at rock memorabilia. There are over 100 very important pieces on display, including an entire wall dedicated to surfer greats Derek Ho, Brock Little, and Kelly Slater. The garden-style oasis of the café that also provides visitors with ocean views. The food is similar to other hard rock cafes, with crowd pleasing burgers, fries and chicken baskets. The deserts are offered in a wide variety. Reservations are suggested but not needed.

The restaurant is open every day of the week 11am to 10pm, with the bar staying open two hours later. The Hard Rock Café store, a must for buying those tee-shirts, is open every day from 10am to 11pm.
