Harowgate Railway Station serves the centre of Harrogate, a city located in North Yorkshire, England.

The station is operated and all passenger train services are provided by Northern Rail, except a daily NXEC service to London Kings Cross. The staffed ticket office is opened seven days a week. There is also a waiting room, newsagent, ATMs, key cutters and photo booths. All of the facilities are located on Platform 1on the main concourse. Although only 2 are used regularly, there are 3 platforms at the station.

The service from Harrogate to Leeds City is generally a half-hourly from Monday to Saturday calling at all stations and to Knaresborough (eastbound) on the Harrogate Line with an hourly service onwards to York also calling at all stations en route. at peak time services to Leeds City are double in frequency, resulting in 4tph with 1tph running fast to Horsforth. In the opposite direction between 16:29 and 18:00 there are 4tph from Leeds City with one running fast from Horsforth to Hornbeam park. An hourly service from Leeds through Harrogate towards Knaresborough and York is generraly provided evenings and Sundays. Monday to Saturdays, in Harrogate starts one NXEC service and goes towards Horsforth and Leeds then onto London King's Cross, but the service has a history of poor reliability with trains often being cancelled altogether. One high Speed Train service to London is operated daily.
