The Ahlbeck Pier is one of the two most popular tourist attractions located on the island of Usedom, which is situated in the Baltic Sea and right next to the city of Swinoujscie of Poland.

The town of Ahlbeck is the largest town located on the German side of the island which is well-known for its beautiful buildings and picturesque resorts that have been built following the Classicist style of architecture. The town's 280 meter pier was originally built in the year 1899. In 1970, restorations were made on this historic pier. It was finally renewed altogether in the year 1993. Part of the pier's popularity was brought about by the shooting of certain scenes for the film Pappa ante Portas, which was directed by Vicco von Bulow.
