Hawaiian Fire Surf School is a place is located at 2909 Coconut Avenue at the beach and run by firefighters who give surf instruction. Offering the care and dedication associated with firefighters, the school offers a different look at the surfing world.

Anyone with any sense of fear about learning surfing will be reassured by the multiple skills in rescue and survival served by a firefighter. In business since 2003, the Hawaiian Fire Surf School has been a favorite for visitors on Honolulu. Two different surf tours are available, beginning with a 7 am pickup or a 9:30 am pickup, both including a two-hour lesson, all equipment, prep time on the beach, tent and chairs and finally a drop-off back at Waikiki locations. Lessons are given in groups of three ($99) or can be had on a one-on-one basis, starting at $129 for children and $179 for adults.
