With a history dating back to 1927, the Hector International Airport (FAR) has served as North Dakota’s primary commercial air transportation center for over 80 years. Located three miles outside of the business district of Fargo, Hector International Airport is a joint civil and military public airport, with commercial passenger service and cargo air service, as well as the home of the 119th Wing of the North Dakota Air National Guard.

The airport is named after Martin Hector, who donated the land upon which it sits in 1926, and provides Fargo-area residents with service to multiple destinations in the U.S. on Delta, Frontier, United, and Allegiant Airlines. Hector International Airport also receives incoming flights from Canada. The airport has three runways, accessed by way of a single terminal, which has a restaurant, café, and Wi-Fi access for passengers.

The Hector International Airport is located at 2801 32nd Avenue NW in Fargo. On-site parking is available at rates ranging from $2 per hour to $33 per week, and ground transportation is available at the airport terminal, which also houses multiple rental car agencies.
