Hilversum Noord Train Station

Hilversum Noord Train Station is one of the three stations located in Hilversum, in the t’Gooi district, North Holland, Nethrlands. The Train Station lies approximately 27 kilometres away from the capital, Amsterdam and 1 kilometre North of the centre of Hilversum. It is an important station in Holland, linking Mediapark to the whole country.

The train station was opened on May 24th 1974. It was innitially called Hilversum NOS, receiving its current name in 1989. The station is used mostly by residents. Also, most radio stations and Dutch TV broadcast from Mediapark – the main centre of broadcasting in Netherlands, thus Hilversum Noord Train Station is currently a very active and crowded station.

Hilversum Noord Train Station is close to several airports, amogst which: Schiphol, Rotterdam Airport, Eindhoven and Weeze Airport.
