The Hip Pocket Theatre, located at 1950 Silver Creek Road in Fort Worth, Texas, is one of the most innovative theatres in the entire southwestern US. The Hip Pocket Theatre has been producing enchanting, clever shows since 1976 when it was founded by Johnny and Diane Simons and Douglas Balentine. In their pieces they make use of dance, music, masks, puppets, projections, paper and mime to create a mesmerizing theater experience. Performances take place under the stars, weather permitting. It’s definitely not to be missed. Food is provided by Z’s café and they provide a wide selection of soft drinks, beer and wine. Admission on opening nights is $5. All other nights: adults $15, seniors/teachers/military/students $10, children 6-12 $5.
