Lots of theme parks in Orlando focus on Mickey Mouse, but did you know that the star at one is actually Jesus Christ? Visitors looking for a more spiritual theme exhibit experience may enjoy a day at Holy Land, Orlando's premiere religious theme park.

Founded by Marvin Rosenthal, who converted to Baptism, Holy Land Experience was bought by Trinity Broadcasting Network and plans on expanding the park to include some film and music production, too. While there are no rides at Holy Land Experience, there are a number of different exhibits, including a replica of ancient Jerusalem, the chance to wander through a street market set in ancient times, and a number of different live performances. The most popular? Jesus Christ's crucifixion and resurrection, of course.

Holy Land Experience is open six days a week from ten in the morning until six in the evening. Except for special occasions, Holy Land is closed on Sundays. A number of hotels are a short drive away, including The Days Inn of Universal Studios, The Hampton Inn Orlando North Universal Boulevard Area, and The La Quinta Inn Universal Studios.
