One of the biggest stadiums in the entire country designed specifically for soccer, The Home Depot Center is the home base of both The Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA teams. The Los Angeles Sol, a professional women's soccer team, also has their home games there.

If soccer keeps catching on, then The Home Depot Center is one of the truly groundbreaking stadiums in the country, as it was only the second stadium designed specifically for soccer in the era of Major League Soccer in The States. In addition to its home teams, The Home Depot Center is also the site of training camps for the United States men's and women's national teams, as well as for all-star games and even the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2003.

More than just soccer has been played at The Home Depot Center, too. A number of important rugby matches have taken place there, as well as some of the big competitions, including the BMX competition, for ESPN's X Games. Los Angeles' major-league lacrosse team also plays there, and the Adidas Track Classic has been held there in the past, too.
