It is located in the scenic Hung Hom Bay in the bustling Victoria Harbour which is situated between the Tsim Sha Tsui and Hung Hom in the southern part of Kowloon. The pier was built in the year 1965 and originally located near the Royal Peninsula and was even relocated to the Hung Hom Bay Centre in 1988 while the area was being reclaimed. In 1991, it moved to its present location.
