The Hunt-Morgan House in Lexington, Kentucky, was built in 1914 by one of the first millionaires west of the Allegheny Mountain Range, John Wesley Hunt. The residence is home to the Alexander T. Hunt Civil War Museum and is also part of the Gratz Park Historic District. The Hunt-Morgan House is a classic example of Federal architecture, a style found typically among structures built in the United States during the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

The House has many beautiful architectural features and was home to other noteworthy persons such as General John Hunt Morgan, famous for his Confederate Army leadership, and Thomas Hunt Morgan, the only Kentuckian to win the Nobel Prize. Today the Hunt-Morgan House is overseen and continually preserved by the Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation.
