But more than just education, The Ijams Nature Center also boasts beautiful park grounds for locals and tourists alike to kick back, relax, and enjoy a break from urban living for an hour or an afternoon.

The Ijams Nature Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from nine until five, and on Sundays from one until five, but only from March until November. Mondays, the nature center is closed to the public, and open only by appointment or for group and school tours.
