Imperial War Museum

Establishing the Imperial War Museum began during wartime in 1917. Today, the collections of war memorabilia create a poignant look into the ravages wrought during the difficult times and the effects it brought to people around the world.

The museum initially sought to gather artifacts from the Second World War, but as decades passed, the collection came to include all documentation and objects from varying conflicts in British soil.
