Inuvik Airport (YEV), also called Mike Zubko Airport, is located due east of Inuvik in Northwest Territories. The Ministry of Transport of the Government of the Northwest Territories operates this modern airport. It is a Canadian Customs Port of Entry, with officials on site to handle international arrivals and examine the immigration status of passengers landing in YEV.

Regular flights to Dawson City, Old Crow and Whitehorse are provided by Air North. Aklak Air has flights to Aklavik, Sachs Harbour, Tuktoyaktuk and Ulukhaktok. Canadian North Airlines offers service to Edmonton, Norman Wells and Yellowknife (also service by First Air). North Wright Airways has service to Aklavik and Fort Good Hope.
