Columbus, Ohio's Italian Village is a neighborhood brimming with history and culture, located on the north side of the city. The area was established as one the first suburbs in Columbus, and was settled primarily by Italian immigrants (hence the name). The area was revitalized in the early 1970s by proud residents, and today is a pleasant neighborhood perfect for a summer's evening stroll. There are a number of sections that are protected by their status on the National Register of Historic places.
