The Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki can be found in the centre of Thessaloniki and its structure is the original Jewish building that survived a great fire in 1917. This museum showcases the lives of the Jewish people in Thessaloniki from their arrival from Spain during the 3rd century B.C.E. up to their annihilation during the Second World War in 1945.

Items showed in the Jewish Museum include photographs, costumes and other artifacts of the daily lives of the Jews. Some ancient collections are monumental stones and inscriptions. They also have a special collection related to the Holocaust- how the Jews were removed from their community and brought to death camps.

The museum is close every Mondays. During Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, it is open from 11am till 2pm while on Wednesdays and Thursdays, the museum is open from 11am till 2pm and from 5pm till 8pm.
