The Jingdezhen Airport is one of the minor airports that allow passengers to travel to Jingdezhen city, one of the many prefecture-level cities in the Jiangxi Province of the People’s Republic of China. The city itself has a bit of a charm, often being referred to as the “Porcelain Capital” since it has become known for the high quality of pottery creations that have been produced for the past 1700 years.

To enable tourists and locals to easily visit Jingdezhen, as well as for the export of the porcelain products, it became essential that the Jingdezhen Airport be created. With the creation of the airport, the city has opened its doors for domestic travel via Air China and Shenzhen Airlines.
