Jordan-Hare Stadium is a football stadium located in Auburn, Alabama. It serves as the main playing venue for Auburn University’s football team, the Auburn Tigers. The stadium is named after Ralph Jordan, an award winning football coach and Cliff Hare, who was part of Auburn’s very first football team. The stadium has a seating capacity of 87, 451. According to the NCAA, it is the twelfth largest stadium in the organization. It hosted its very first game on November 10, 1939; the match was played between Auburn and Georgia Tech. At that time it was known as Auburn Stadium and had only 7,290 seats. It was rededicated in 1949. Today, the stadium plays host to a number of big games. It is located at 251 South Donahue Drive.
