JP Morgan Chase Tower, the tallest building in Texas with 75 stories and over 1,000 feet in height, was previously known as the Commerce Building. It currently holds the title as the tallest 5-sided building in the world.

Built in 1981 and located at 600 Travis Street in downtown Houston, the tower is the product of the design firm M. Pei and Partners. Located on a full square city block, the tower is one of the most important business centers in town and is connected to the Houston underground tunnel system, climate-controlled walkways for downtown pedestrians. Inside the tower are many restaurants and services, as well as an observation deck on the 60th floor. Parking is available in the parking garage across the street.
