Situated just east of central Kahului, on the Kahului Bay, the Kahului Airport (OGG) is a public regional airport on the island of Maui in the State of Hawaii. The dual runway airport is used for commercial, cargo, and general aviation, and is the second busiest airport in Hawaii, with the Honolulu - Kahului air route being one of the 15 busiest air routes in the United States.

Opened in 1952, 56 aircraft are based at the Kahului Airport today, with the airport serving over 165,000 operations annually. The airport contains 40 gates accessed through two different concourses, and is currently expanding with the intent of upgrading to international airport status, eventually serving flight routes to and from Japan and Canada.

The Kahului Regional Airport is located at 1 Kahului Airport Road, in Kahului, less than five minutes away from the Maui State Fairgrounds, Kahana Pond State Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Kahului Harbor. On-site parking is available at the airport, with rates ranging from $2 per hour to $9 per day. Eight different rental car companies have facilities at the airport, and public bus route makes stops at the airport every 90 minutes for $1 per ride.
