Helsiniki's longest straight road leads to an impressive end. The Kallio Church rests at the streets end with a tower hovering 213 feet high in the sky.

The Kallio Church largely shows a change from a National Romantic style to Art Nuoveau in Helsinki. Lars Sonck designed the Lutheran church with construction taking place from 1908-1912. The structure is made up of grey granite.

Jean Sibelius composed the famous melody of Kallio's bells. Visitors that enter the church can marvel at its painted altarpiece and massive size. The church can seat up to 1,100 people.

Perhaps the Kallio Church's most acclaimed accolade comes with its organs. It is the only church in Finland with both a Baroque organ and a French Romantic organ. The site is known for being a center for organ music in Helsinki with excellent acoustics.
