The Kandrich Mountain quietly breaks the Hunsrück landscape. Its height sprouts 637 meters upward in the Rhineland-Palatinate region in Germany.

Aside from its remarkable height, the Kandrich also carries some history. The first wind turbine of type Enercon E-66 was installed on the mountain. The Kandrich also served during the Second Gulf War as a station for the Armed Forces of the United States from 1986 until 1991.
