Karlovy Vary International Airport (KLV) is located in the village of Olšová Vrata in the Czech Republic. Although located in Olšová Vrata it is, confusingly, named after the nearby village of Karlovy Way. It is also 6km southeast of Bohemia’s western city center. Positioned near many of the major transport connections and tourist attractions, Karlovy Vary International Airport has become the fifth largest airport in the Czech Republic.

KLV has a direct route to Prague, and also is a major hub to Moscow and St. Petersburg. These routes have made KLV a gateway to Russia. It is also an ideal route for many businesses and also Russian tourists.

KLV lacks accommodation in the immediate vicinity, but it does have WIFI and a number of duty free shops. It also has road connections to Bohemia, Karlovy Way, and even Prague. City bus 8 connects KLV with Karlovy Way seven times each day, and hotel options here are ample (prices from around €30 per night per double room).
