Baseball fans visiting Kansas City might be in town just to catch a game over at Kauffman Stadium, home of The Kansas City Royals, and known lovingly to local baseball fans as simply "The K." One of the only remaining old-school style baseball stadiums, Kauffman Stadium opened its doors for the first time in 1973, and merely undergone renovations since then, keeping the initial look and feel of the stadium preserved.

Many say that Kauffman Stadium was the last baseball-only park built, so no matter if fans are in the cheap seats or the best seats in the house, visibility is generally very good from all over. There are a number of season ticket-holders, but out-of-towners should find it relatively easy to get seats for when their favorite team is in town, at less outrageous prices than in other baseball stadiums around the country, too.

Kauffman Stadium has a capacity of almost 40,000, and is open depending on when games are scheduled. It's best to check with the official website to see the schedule.
