Like most countries, Malaysia has a number of sports facilities that can be found all over the country. One of these facilities includes the Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam, which is found in Damansara and Bukit Kiara. It is a golf course that has rolling terrains and provides players with exact challenges for their needs.

The golf course was established in 1989 as a 27-hole course. However, the plans did not exactly start there as most plans were started in the 1970s. According to Tan Sri Dato’ Abdullah bin Ayub, there was an agreement between the late Tan Sir Yaacub Abdul Latif and himself to construct a recreational park that had a golf course on the area.

Over the years, many improvements have been made on the course as well as an additional 9-hole course which was started on November 2, 1992. To date, the golf course is now one of the most frequented courses in Malaysia, especially with its colorful history.
