Kessenich

Kessenich is a district in Bonn, Germany, located on the Rhine in the southern state of North Rhine-Westphalia, 30km south of Cologne and 60 km north of Koblenz. Between 1949 and 1990 Bonn was the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, and between 1990 and 1999 the seat of his government. Ever since, it has had the status of "federal city".
There are many entertaining and political well known events in the area, such as: Rhein in Flammen, the Carnaval , Conférence de Bonn, Rheinkultur, Beethovenfestas well as a lot of attractions lureing tourists into visiting as many aprt of Bonn as possible. Phantasialand , Anbau 35, Bonner Kuenstlerhaus, University of Bonn , House of Beethoven are only few of them, along with Bonner Münster Museum, August-Macke-Haus or Opera Bonn , Theatre Millowitsch. Bonn Botanical Garden is also an important German landmark and so are Kurfürstenbad Stadium and Sportpark Pennenfeld Arena.
The closest airports are in Bonn and Dusseldorf and the closest railway station to Kessenich district is Bonn Central Station. There are three federal motorways crossing Bonn and transportation is also ensured by the German railway network. There is also a local train network, known as the light train, provided by Stadtbahn.
