Key Tower

Hotels near Key Tower, Cleveland (Ohio), United States .

The tallest building in the state of Ohio, Key Tower is one of Cleveland's most famous landmarks. Originally called Society Center, it was designed by architect Cesar Pelli and was erected in 1991. Its name was changed as a consequence of Key Bank purchasing Society Bank soon after. Although the building is owned by Wells Real Estate Funds, its 1.5 million square feet of office space are almost entirely occupied by Key Bank. Until 1955 the site was home to the Chamber of Commerce Building. Today the building has four illuminated Key Bank logo signs at the base of its top pyramid. Its unique architecture and significant contribution to the Cleveland skyline make this one landmark not to be missed. For those looking for nearby accommodations, consider the Marriott Downtown, which is connected with Key Tower.
