Khabarovsk Novy Airport is situated six miles from the main town of Khabarovsk, Russia. Once a military base, it is now used exclusively for passenger and freight flights. Vladivostock Air flies from Khabarovsk Novy (the 13th largest airport in Russia), making Khabarovsk a busy, if small, domestic and international airport. There are two runways, and flights to East Asia, South East Asia, Central Asia, Europe and Russia. There is car-parking and car rental service at the Airport.

Khabarovsk is the capital of the Khabarovsk Krai district of Russia, and lies 30km away from the Chinese border, at the junction of the Amur and Ussuri Rivers. It is 497 miles north of Vladivostock and 5,296 miles away from Moscow, with good access to the Trans Siberian Railway. Tourists often visit the Amursky Boulevard to shop, and visit the local market. There is a walking tour from Lenin Square to Utyos on Amur, passing traditional Russian restaurants, and souvenir shops. This area also has many nightclubs and pubs.
