The Kheria Airport is also known as the Agra Airport and was once also known as the Air Force Station Agra. It was used to be a military airbase that served the area. It is one of the largest air bases in the country and was operated by the Indian Air force. It was opened in August 15, 1947 and was under the responsibility of the Western air command. The airbase also serves as a public airport for the region.

Agra is an area that offers one of the worlds most prized architectural buildings that was built for love, the Taj Mahal. It is one of three World Heritage Sites and is considered as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Also found in Agra are the Agra fort, the Fatehpur Sikri, the I’timad-Ud-Daulah in the left bank of the Yamuna River, Akbar’s Tomb, Mankameshwar Temple and Mariam’s tomb are only some sights of great architectural designs in Agra.

Kheria airport for the moment has no commercial flights available. It is now mostly being used as a military base. Hotels in the nearby area are the Grand Hotel Agra, Ranjit Hotel, Hotel Amar and the Mansingh Palace.
