Kitay-Gorod station in Russia is located right in the middle of an aged business district. The moment you reach the station you will be spelling bound by the architectural wonders that will engulf you. This is the spot where you can come out of the Maroseyka exit and walk down to the Kremlin. The metro has an exit to the south side too. If you take this exit then you will come out of the station, and you will reach the Maroseyka Street.

The closest airport to the Kitai-Gorod station is the Sheermetyevo (SVO) Airport. It is a thirty minute drive to the station by bus. Kitai-gorod is the main metro station. The moment one steps out; there are lots of transportation facilities.
The Kitai-gorod station building has got amazing old world architecture with spires and stone. The buildings all around it are heritage ones and will take one back to medieval times.

The station is completely safe for travelers. There are people using it throughout the day. Beware during rush hours though.
