Klein Constantia is the maker of the legendary Constantia Wine and is well-known for its Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Marlbrook, Vin de Constance, and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is located in the Constantia Valley of South Africa, a valley and region known to be the oldest and most enduring vineyard region in the Cape, producing wine in as early as 1689.

Although a virtual tour is available in the website of Klein Constantia, nothing beats the real thing. Those who want to visit the winery can do so from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. during Saturdays. Such cellar tours require prior appointment. The winery is closed during public holidays and Sundays.

Focusing more on quality than on quantity, Klein Constantia produces some of the highest quality wines in the region, including Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. In fact, many of its wine varieties have garnered local and international recognition and awards.
