Albert 1st Gardens is one of the oldest gardens from the old city of Nice, France.
Nice has a thriving life but every tourist would need a break at some moment. This garden, together with Leclerc Square, Esplanade du Paillon and Promenade du Paillon, leads from the seaside towards the bordering hills of the city, comprising an almost two-kilometer long path of greenery. Just Albert 1st gardens have a surface of 32.000 square meters. Here the tourists can relax in a lovely spacious garden with fountains and water basins and through the enormous lawn. A gigantic sculpture by Bernard Venet lies in the center lawn. Tourists should know that the park was created on the basis of an earlier botanical garden.
All the information about the public transport are provided by the SNCF train station on avenue Thiers. The park is located at a walking distance from all public transport facilities like bus, tram, metro and trolleybus.
