Koningin Juliana Toren (Queen Juliana Tower) is one of the most complete family amusement parks in the Netherlands located in Apledoorn in a forest area called De Veluwe just off the highway A4 (E30).
Koningin Juliana Toren is a family park aimed primarily at those with young children. As such, it is a home to a many self-operated rides such. Many of these rides are great fun, but are rarely seen due to their small capacity of fewer than one hundred passengers per hour
Though the park officially opens at ten, the only section available at this time is the gift shop and restaurant.Facillities include a latter that serves complimentary tea and coffee, an indoor table giving us a clear view of the ridea area entrance, allowing to remain seated until the rest of the park was opened.
The first of the two coasters in the park is one of the aforementioned self operated rides. Two passengers board the vehicle on Butterfly. When the safety lap bar has been closed, one must press a start button to indicate that they are ready to go. The track has a simple V-shaped layout. The ride takes just over a minute to do, a surprisingly long time given that the ride is only 7 meters tall. Butterfly is good fun, and if nothing else certainly has novelty value.
The only other coaster is called Super Achtbaan.
Also available are Nautic Jet rides. These are single seater splash rides which launch the boat completely into the air before splashing down. For obvious reasons these have strict weight limits to maximum75kg.
The park also has a Ferris Wheel and the Spookslot dark ride.
