Located at Tharua Road about 4 kilometers from Krabi town, Krabi Pier serves ferry trips to Koh Lanta and Koh Phi Phi. Most of the trips from the pier depart in the morning. Both destinations take an hour and a half travel time. Tickets to Koh Lanta are priced at BHT350 while trips to Koh Phi Phi are worth BHT390.

Koh Lanta is actually composed of 52 islands in the southernmost tip of Krabi province. It is dotted with pristine beaches, jungles, mountainous areas and world-class resorts. Its biggest island known as Koh Lanta Yai, is about 70 kilometers from Krabi town. On the other hand, Koh Phi Phi boasts the best diving sites in Thailand and the world-famous Maya Bay depicted in plenty of travel books and movies.
