The Albert Square in Dresden is an almost circular area in the district of Inner Neustadt, Dresden, Germany.

It was designed in 1875 by Johann Carl Friedrich Bouché and in 1871 it took the name of King Albert I in his honor. Now is Dresden's most important transportation hub from the north of the Elbe. Nine roads are designed to be a star on the square. Even the baroque splendor of Road King Street and Albert Street are fading comparing with the Albert Square.

On Albert Square are among others the Erich Kästner Museum and the neo-Baroque villa Eschebach, which were built by the kitchen manufacturer Eschebach in 1901 and now are part of Dresdner Volksbank Raiffeisenbank. The Hochhaus, built in 1929, with 11 floors and 40 meters high, it was the first building in Germany with high-rise reinforced concrete frame construction and for several decades, it was the home of the Dresden public transport.

A total of five tram lines run across the square. About 400 meters west of the Albert Square is the Dresden-Neustadt station at the Silesian place. About this station, access to the main-line railway is possible.
