Kuwait University is an institution in Kuwait City, Kuwait. It was established in October 8, 1966 with only two faculties – a Women’s College and the Faculty of Science, Arts, and Education – and just 418 students and 31 faculty members. Growing over the years, it now has 4 campuses in Khaldiya, Keyfan, Adailiah, and Shuwaikh and more than 20,000 students and over 1,000 faculty members. It is the Shuwaikh campus that has the most faculties and the largest campus.

Kuwait University has the following faculties – College of Allied Health Sciences, College of Arts, College of Business Administration, College of Dentistry, College of Education, College of Engineering and Petroleum, College of Law, College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Sciences, and College of Shari’a and Islamic Studies.

The university has approved a new plan for the creation of a new University City with state of the art facilities in a modern campus. It will have complete facilities – faculties, sports facilities, auditoriums, car parking areas, cafeterias, dormitories, etc.
