The KWV Cellar and Wine Emporium is located in Paarl Valley, South Africa. It is one of the world’s largest cellar complexes and contains some of the world’s largest vats – these are just some of the reasons why a tour in the cellar is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The KWV Cellar has a long history of creating wine. The company was registered in 1918 but it was not until 1926 when the first brandy was created by the company and when its sweet wine was began to be exported to the U.K. Over the years, the company grew not only in terms of finances but also in the number of products being sold and the places and countries that these products are exported to.

Tastings at KWV Cellar of wine, chocolate, brandy, food and wine pairs, and nuts with wine are available all throughout the week – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Mondays to Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Visitors to the KWV Cellar can also have light snacks at the coffee shop or buy gifts, curio and wine in the shops.
