La Corniche is a walkway by the sea where you can see Chateau d’If and Les Calanques. It starts behind the Pharo from the entrance to the Vieux Port and leads to the marble statue of David. Just before you reach the Prado beaches, you will discover a picturesque fishermen’s village Vallon des Auffes, the best place for swimming and sunbathing in summer, or kite-flying and jogging during the rest of the year. The area is very popular with watersports fans and there are plenty of surf shops.
