La Garenne Airport, Agen, France began life as 'The Warren' military base, training troops both on foot and on horseback. It developed as a military airfield and now offers flights to passengers. 76% of its patrons are business people and the main airline is Airlinair, which offers a regional French service. The airport will take ground clearance from Bordeaux Airport, for planes with fewer than 100 seats in the event of bad weather. There are a few flying clubs who use the airfield.

Agen is a town in the Lot de Garenne. There are some well-preserved historic buildings within the town, such as the Roman Catholic Cathedral, the Saint Caprais, the seat of the current Bishop of Agen.
