Situated at 655 meters above sea level, Lago di Lido is a two square kilometer lake
tucked away in the mountains of northern Italy a few kilometers from the shores of Lake
Garda in the provence of Trento. The lake is known for its peaceful and non-touristy
surroundings. Camping, fishing and hiking in the surrounding Alps are the most popular
summer activities in addition to visiting the paleoethnographic museum in the town.
Visitors can also stop into the nearby town of Riva del Garda which is the site of several
cultural festivals during the summer as well as several medieval fortresses and churches.
Accommodations are mainly small guesthouses or camping parks, but Riva del Garda has
more options to chose from with high season prices starting around 40 Euros per night.
