Lake Hood Harbor is one of the main tourist attractions in Anchorage, Alaska, and happens to be the largest floatplane harbor on the planet. The entrance to the harbor is located at 185 Aircraft Drive.

Lake Hood Harbor, which is connected with Lake Spenard, is a great place for people to go enjoy a picnic (there are benches and facilities located on the southern shore of the lake), with great views of the surrounding mountains, the local wildlife, and the many small aircraft that land in and take off from the lake. Enjoying a picnic downwind from the airplanes is a bad idea, however, as the water spray is sure to soak you.
