Läkerol Arena

Läkerol Arena is a hockey rink in Gävle, eastern Sweden. The stadium was inaugurated in 1967 under the name Gavlerinken as a substitute for Gävle Isstadion. At that time, it took 9062 spectators, including 3,200 seated. Over time, several alterations have taken place that had the effect of reducing the number of spectator seats in favor of more seating. Today, the stadium holds 8265 spectators. For concerts, the audience through conversions can be increased to 11,000.
The then Gavlerinken was bought in 2005 by the club Frölunda HC and in 2006 it was rebuilt for around 160 million Swedish kronor. The naming rights to the stadium were sold to the company Leaf whereupon the stadium's name Läkerol Arena assumed.
The stadium hosted the home matches of Frölunda HC, in the highest Swedish league. It was the venue for the Melodifestivalen 2007, Sweden's Eurovision Song Contest and the finals of the Euro Hockey Tour 2006/07.
Clarion Hotel Winn is a four star hotel located in an ideal place that provides 150 rooms at prices starting from 105 euro.
