Lancaster Gate is situated in London, United Kingdom. It is an underground tube station which was opened in 1900. It was started as a part of the Central London Railway which is now known as the Central Line. In 2006, the station was closed down because it was getting renovated through out. It was re opened again after four months with a better upgraded service and renovated lifts and shafts.
The underground station connects London with eastbound towards Epping, Hainault or Woodford and on the westbound towards Ealing Broadway or West Ruislip. It is in between Queensway and Marble Arch. Lancaster Gate has been rated high on cleanliness, safety and security, train service and staff helpfulness by the customers. There is plenty of space for those waiting for their trains to arrive. The entertaining spots, bars or restaurants are not very near the Lancaster Gate because it is situated in a very quiet and wealthy area with many stunning views.
The station is located very close to the expensive residential area Hyde Park. It is very close to the Paddington Tube and South Hampstead railway station through which travelers can walk to their destination.
