The Lanzerac Wine Estate is located in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The winery was established in 1692 after Governor Simon van der Stel of Cape granted the land to Isaac Schrijver. It was first named as Schoongezicht but with the winery changing ownership over the years, the name has also been changed until its present name.

The wine estate is now on 150 of hectares of land where 50 hectares are allocated for the vineyards. Cultivars include Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Not only is the wine estate a historically-rich winery, it also recognizes its responsibility to nature as since 2006, it has been part of the Biodiversity and Wine Initiative.

The estate has several dining options ranging from the main fine dining restaurant to outdoor informal settings. The estate may also be booked for special functions. Lanzerac offers its famous Lanzerac International Buffet every Sunday starting at 12.30 p.m.
