Larnaca International Airport is situated 2km southwest of Larnaca city, Cyprus and is the larger of the country's two airports (www.cyprusairports.com). It is accessible by car, taxi and shuttle bus. The Limassol shuttle bus makes 14 strips a day and costs seven Euros, while the Nicosia shuttle bus makes 30 trips a day and costs five Euros. The original terminal was developed in 1974, and a new terminal is due to open in November 2009. There are also engineering hangars and a cargo terminal at the airport.

Ayia Napa is situated on the south coast of Cyprus and has many sandy beaches. In recent years it has become a party capital like Ibiza, Rimini and Mykonos, which has caused controversy amongst local people due to the liberal behaviour of young partygoers. Nick Power of London's Kiss FM opened a club at Ayia Napa, Kool Club that became famous for Grime, House and Garage artists and DJs. A cocktail called Pool Grog, made from Vodka and Sprite in a 50/50 mix helps to fuel the festivities. The centre is also popular for family holidays, but it may be best to avoid some of the party beaches. Water skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, scuba diving and speed boating are all popular.

There are numerous hotels, but the Grecian Bay has five stars and offers sea views, a selection of pools and restaurants, a spa and gym. It is close to the beaches and shopping, and a room costs from 56 Euros per night. The Mon Repos has three stars and is five minutes from the beach, clubs and pubs. It has a pool and garden terrace and is a short walk from the Water Park.
