Le Colisee is an arena located in Chalon-sur-Saone, France. It is primarily used for basketball and is home to the Elan Chalon Sports. It was built between 2000 and 2001 and was inaugurated on September 29, 2001 during a match between Chalon and Nancy. For its first year, the Coliseum has hosted more than 100 000 spectators. The Elan Chalon displays an average of 4,000 spectators per game in the Pro A or single room to 100% and filling it since 2001. The hall has hosted other sporting events and cultural (Carnaval de Chalon) the recent years. The hall has a capacity of about 4 000 seats with the distinction of being round and the second level on its four sides first level (with VIP seating, subscriptions and supporters). It also includes a gymnasium annex, reception halls, a weight room, a video viewing room and offices of the club.
