Alfred B. Maclay State Gardens features over 200 varieties of exotic and native plants surrounding a historic home built in the early 1900’s. The park features a brick walkways, a reflection pool and provides a beautiful, peaceful environment for a variety of recreational activities including hiking, fishing, swimming, boating and biking. Guided tours of the home are also available.

The gardens are currently managed by the Florida State Parks system and are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The park itself is open everyday from 8 a.m. to sunset.
