One of the longest-running attractions in Florida, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park originally opened its doors in 1893. Featuring of course crocodilians, as well as reptiles, mammals and birds the Park is known for the quality of its exhibits, animal performances, educational information and demonstrations. The Park, moved to its present location in the 1920s, is now designated a U.S. Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Be sure to check out exciting Alligator Farm exhibits like Maximo, a 15-foot-long saltwater Crocodile, the Komodo Dragon exhibit, Albino Alligators, Birds of Africa, and Exotic Birds and Mammals. The Alligator Farm Zoological Park is open daily from 9am-5pm, and until 6pm in the summer. The entrance fee for adults is $21.95, and $10.95 for ages 3-11.
