Each of the rooms in the lovingly preserved home is a host to a myriad of paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, and porcelain figures depicting dogs throughout history. At over 14,000 square feet, that's a great deal of dog-related art! Visitors can also enjoy a number of themed temporary exhibits throughout the year, as well as a trip to the gift shop, with its incredible variety of dog-related gifts and items, from jewelry to umbrellas.

There are also frequent dog-related activities scheduled at the American Kennel Club Museum, including research facilities for those interested in finding out about animal artists for their own portraits, as well as many special events with the local and regional dog clubs.

American Kennel Club Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from ten until four, and on Sundays from one until five. The museum is closed on both holidays and Mondays.
